Recently, a Colombian man named Wara Rico was looking out of the window from his home. He noticed a man with a portable sound system in the middle of the street, performing in between vehicles while they waited for the green light to flash.
The busker rapped and sang in hopes of receiving spare money from the passengers in their vehicles, but to no avail. No one gave him even a single coin.
Quite disappointed and empty-handed, the man returned to the sidewalk while the vehicles passed, and what Wara Rico witnessed next was very touching.
On the sidewalk was a bubbly dog which was wagging its tail when the man approached. He immediately hugged the dog for comfort and encouragement.
The scene was very touching, and Wara Rico did not hesitate to come down and invite the man and his dog into his home.
“For me, it was a moment of love and loyalty,” Wara Rico said. “So much so that I went down to talk to him.”

During a good conversation with the busker, Wara Rico learned that the man’s name was Anderson. He is a struggling street entertainer with an unstable income.
He still does his best to feed his dog Mayte with a little of what he has saved. Noticing that the man and his dog have a special bond, Wara Rico offered to bring Mayte and Anderson’s other dog, Negrita, to the vet for a check-up. Fortunately, both dogs are in good health.
“They are all healthy, thank God,” Wara Ricco said.
In addition to the vet visits, Wara Rico also paid for a recording studio session for Anderson to record his music. Wara Rico resorted to social media and shared Anderson’s story, promoting his music. Since then, Anderson gained followers on his own social media page, and his music career improved. Anderson, Mayte, and Negrita lived a happy life and were no longer struggling in the middle of the streets.
“I have faith that everything will change for the better,” Wara Rico said of his new friends’ future. “No matter what life hits you with, keep going and give it love.”
With Wara Rico’s help, Anderson, Mayte, and Negrita gradually progressed in life, and it all started with a bubbly dog’s comforting embrace.
