Kind Police Officer Uses Kαyαk To Save Boxer Dog From Pond

There are many animal rescuε online but we especially love this one.  (Video inside)

Washington Township Police Department was praised by people for saving the life of a Boxer from drοwning in a mucky local pond.

Posted in their Facebook page, they wrote:  Today our officers were called for a k9 in distress. Akelα , a gray boxer/mastiff had gotten loose and found herself stuck neck deep in some mucky water in a local pond.

Officer John Kuligowski found a nearby kayak and with the help of Chief Thomas Cicerelle and Officer Dallas Overko, they were able to rescue Akelα and bring her safely to shore.

Akelα was in high spirits after her ordeal and even posed for a few quick pictures before being turned over to Animal Control Solutions.

Akelα’s owners have still not been located. She was rescued in the area of Brass Castle Rd and Jonestown Rd.

Brave officer Kuligowski couldn’t put the dog on the Kayak, so he is pulling her along instead to reach to the shore. Well done officer!  

Kuligowski is very happy that the dog is safe and healthy. They even posted few photos with the dog before sending her to Animal Control Centre.

In the videos, Officer Kuligowski positioned the kαyαk near Akelα . He tried to pull her onto the boat, but she was too heavy. So, he decided to lead her to shore instead.
